Japan Day 7

world expo

Driving 3.5 hours to Schlosshotel Kronberg, a luxurious five-star hotel located in Kronberg im Taunus, approximately 21 km (13 miles) from Frankfurt, Germany. Nestled in the scenic Taunus foothills, the hotel was originally built between 1889 and 1893 as Schloss Friedrichshof for Empress Victoria, the eldest daughter of Queen Victoria. Today, it offers a blend of royal history and modern luxury, featuring elegant rooms, two fine dining restaurants, an 18-hole golf course, and a spa. Arrived at 5pm or early.

Our Day 6 was spent on Western and Northwestern part of Iceland. Driving time actually took longer than sightseeing time. The Northwest region is one of the least populated areas in the country, the most untamed region of the island and the least frequented by tourists. Fishing is the only economic activity in this region, which has a harsh climate and beautiful terrain.
