Italy Planning & Booking

During our unforgettable five-day trip to Italy, we had the opportunity to visit three of the country’s most iconic cities: Venice, Florence, and Rome. Each city offered its own unique charm and character, creating a rich and diverse travel experience in a short amount of time. We began in the enchanting city of Venice, where we wandered through narrow alleyways, glided along the canals in gondolas, and marveled at the beauty of St. Mark’s Basilica and the surrounding piazza. From there, we traveled to Florence, the heart of the Renaissance, where we explored stunning art and architecture, and admired Michelangelo’s David. Our journey concluded in the historic city of Rome, where ancient history came alive as we visited the Colosseum, strolled through the Roman Forum, and stood in awe beneath the dome of St. Peter’s Basilica. Though the trip was brief, it was packed with culture, history, and unforgettable moments.

It is advisable to book hotels in Italy 3–6 months in advance, especially during peak season or in popular cities. Reserve tickets for major attractions and tours 1–2 months ahead to avoid long lines and sold-out spots. For high-speed trains, book 1–2 months early for the best fares and seat choices.

For our high-speed train journeys in Italy, we booked with Italo Treno, traveling comfortably from Venice to Florence and then from Florence to Rome.
